[SOLVED] Using an Older GPU for CUDA (ML.NET)

Thanks for the response. It looks like Tensorflow requires CUDA 3.5+. I previously hadn't realized that the "Compute Capability" listed on Nvidia's CUDA GPU reference is actually the CUDA version. The cards I was looking at are only 2.0 or 2.1 only so I don't think they can be used for GPU...

[SOLVED] Using an Older GPU for CUDA (ML.NET)

Background: I've recently started playing around with ML.NET to train a machine learning model to classify images. I do not currently have a dedicated GPU (I just use onboard graphics with my Intel i5-10500) so I've been restricted to CPU training of the model. This was fine at first but as my...

[SOLVED] USB/eSATA PCIe Halts PC Boot

Thanks for the response. I decided to give it another go (which I probably should've done before posting here). After supplying power via Molex connector, my computer was able to boot with the card in. The USB ports worked but the eSATA port did not. It wasn't until connecting the card to a...

[SOLVED] USB/eSATA PCIe Halts PC Boot

I purchased a PCIe card from Amazon to add a couple of USB ports and an eSATA port. However, my computer will not boot with this card in. I've tried a few PCIe slots, with the same result. I thought I'd check here for a solution before I return it. It has an internal SATA port and Molex power...

    Question Onboard Sound Stopped Working

It's actually my only audio output device so it's definitely the default. Nothing in the device manager that is indicative of a problem.

    Question Onboard Sound Stopped Working

I drilled a hole in the floor of my case and added a new PCIe card (USB 3.0 and eSATA). Once I booted up, I discovered that my onboard sound no longer works. I removed the PCIe card but the problem remains. I realize I should've removed the motherboard and components before drilling a hole to...
