I am not sure where you getting it the conclusion but windows 8 is a failure !

I have windows 8 x64 recovery cd , and i want to be able to make it x86, is there any mod for this. ? I know that on windows installation setup you basically can mod to any version.

You can simply record " DA MOMENTS " with camcorder or gopro with significant quality you want ......at least , with google glass you can records but u cant do it underwater , harsh conditions ... so .... the idea record "Da moments" minimalist with google glass.

Most branded , OEM , laptop , desktop do have capability to create bootable cd , thing is .. on your case , your system crashed. you may need to contact your manufacture and get recovery cd disc. IF you want to save important files or programs ( some software as hawkeye mentioned it will...
