    okay so i had a Core 2 Duo e6600 lying around and my friends pc had a Pentium e2180, so i offered to swap them out. i ran the windows index and to my suprise the CPU had dropped from 6.1 (pentium) to 5.9 (core2duo). this baffles me, i was so sure the core 2 duo would perform better. am i missing...

    Tried one stick, in left slot, then in right Motherboard is a gigabyte 78lmt s2p, cpu athlon ii x2 2.9ghz, ram is mt 2x4gb ddr3 1333mhz, Iv contacted the seller to try and rma the board but just wanted some opinions incase I missed anything
