Hi I am after a little help with a new mobo, i currently have an asus not sure of the modle and wanting to change. I will have a budget of £120 and use a ssd and and gtx 680 gpu not to worried about multiple gpu slots just a good quality possible over clockable mainboard.

it depends if you want a high res 27" 2550 x 1440 or the standard hd screen, i think if you want a standard hd screen then its just down to how big or how far you sit from it. if you sit close then a smaller is fine. i like the screen to fill your feild of view.

is it your cpu heatsink fan? easy way to check is to unplug the fan and run the pc for a very short time to see it it goes away, it is possible the van is causing vibration through the fixings, this could be making the noise also. try making sure everthing is nice an tight

If you only have one partition then make a backup if you can of the steam dir, or like said above just format c, i have done this and steam works fine, you may need a few extra like windows live and .net but steam does all that for you when you launch the game
