I saw some reports of ddr5 being ready for shipment this year and how amd said that am4 will be lasting until 2020, so it gave me the conclusion of this happening, hopefully am4 does not change, but if it does, i might just stick with the ryzen 9 with ddr4 i guess.

oh and its not the speed of the ram, its the whole change of ram, ddr5 may or may not come with ryzen 4th gen
