when you go to install windows try uninstalling the hdd first so the ssd is the only drive and see if that works

No it should work fine

If it's not posting then check your cpu install and ram install also check your heatsink because if not installed right the cpu will overheat very quickly

If i were you i'd upgrade your cpu/mobo how much would you be willing to spend?
