Oh yes, I replaced it with the new kit. I bought a dual 16GB kit instead of just upgrading the previous ram. I have removed the old ram entirely.

I have reinstalled windows at least 5 times at this point. Everytime to the same drive though. I am beginning to wonder if the drive is causing it? I only install windows to that drive but I also have never tried installing it to another drive.
