That processor itself draws 115 watts at its maximum draw power. The graphics card draws around 85 watts.

Well think it over for a few days cross your t's and . your i's. An i7 4790k will do you darn good procesor wise for about 5 years. I just built a computer this week and that's what I put in it.

Do yourself a favor though get yourself a new cooler :). It will prolong the life of your processor. The swiftech 240x Is really good that's what I use. I highly recommend it.

Asus is pretty good at giving there customers good quality software for there own motherboards. I too run Asus suite 3 and I have a radiator/ res. Mine stays around 30C. I would trust more in the company that provided you with your motherboard then as they know there hardware more then a 3'rd...
