  Remove the gpu...test. If no help what is still connected/plugged in? Psu+mobo+cpu/hsf+one stick of ram+mouse+keyboard.....what else?

  Use just one stick of ram in slot a2....test. If no help try a different stick of ram....test

  Just to muddy the water......you could fit a 2.5 ssd and not have to worry about this gen3/gen4 stuff or the 500GB/1TB size limit and...

  Fiddle with the cpu cooler clamp down pressure see if it makes a diff.

  Look close at the dimm socket and make sure there is no damage. Compare the a1 and b1 sockets to see if there is a diff.
