Well you might have to set its priority higher or something in processes. Hit ctrl shift esc then go to processes and double click mem usage and the one on top right click on it and click set priority high. Also be sure to clean up background tasks.

I have had problems of low fps and no reason why. What I did was go to task manager, processes, then I clicked mem usage two times and I looked at ones I didn't recognize, Googled them, then choose if I should end them.

Is getting Ubuntu a stupid way to save a little money?
