Hi, If you got water under the CPU then it might have caused damage, best idea is to take the CPU out and make sure theres no sign of damage, re-paste and test it again. Might be worth looking at the PSU to make sure there is nothing looking faulty in there.

The i5 7600k is compatible with the Mobo you have chosen and would perform basically the same or cheaper might be not a K series if you're not intending for OC

I would agree with huntlong on this the 3570k is still a good strong CPU even with the new hardware that's out, I only changed from mine to 4690k a year ago because I swapped with a friend and never noticed a hint of it struggling with anything.

Hi, From what I have read and seen of VR the answer is no. You are probably better off looking at getting a i5 6500 with the 1060 6gb for cheap side of things. Also what is your memory? I always recommend an 8gb minimum but try to get higher if possible.

Hi, Have you tried to using DDU and reinstalling the graphics driver and uninstalling and reinstalling vital drivers (USB, updating chipset etc)? Might also be worth fresh installing Windows onto another HDD and putting it in the PC then running a few tests and games to see what happens.

Hi, I would recommend upgrading to 6-8gb of RAM as a start. However, that CPU is getting on for age so might be worth looking to seeing if there is a higher CPU that your mobo will support. But the GPU and CPU combo isn't a bad pair up , just not an excellent one.

Hi, Have you tried just using one RAM stick, with no GPU/storage attached and removing the CMOS battery for about 5-10 seconds which should reset the BIOS completely. I used to have an issue with my old system when my HDD was preventing boot up though.
