Sounds like your water cooling block hasn't been properly re-attached to your motherboard. What you (or someone geeky :D ) need to do is unscrew it from the motherboard, clean off any old thermal paste, apply new paste and screw it back on.

No. You can use the CPU's integrated graphics for video encoding.

In practise, there's little difference between them. Might be Haswell compliance or something. They should perform the same. I have the 212 EVO - great cooler for the price.

Personally, I'd go for the 4670K. You can easily OC it to 4.2GHz which would give you the same +20% performance boost as Hyper-Threading, but in all apps / games, not just heavily threaded ones. If you're not going to OC, get the Xeon. (I used to own an i3-530 - fantastic chip. Upgraded to an...
