I'm torn between staying with nvidia and getting a 970 or switching to the 390. I'm upgrading from a 760 and i was gonna get a new monitor ( asus 1440p / 144hrz) and I was wondering which card would be better for 1440p gaming? I rather stick with nvidia but would the 4gb's of vram be enough...

So should i get a GTX 780 for $365.99 Canadian (Refurbished) or a GTX 970 for $419.99 Canadian (New). Power consumption is not an issue. Which is has better value? P.s. i'm upgrading from a GTX 760
