It turns out it was taking so long to post because my cd/dvd drive has failed. Looks like I will be replacing that. I unplugged it and the computer started perfectly.

Still having the issue after resetting everything and making sure it's all within the motherboard correctly. My cpu temps went down since I didn't seat my heatsink correctly, but only a couple degrees. If everything is working fine, what would it be in the motherboard settings?

Thanks for the help! It sounds like my cpu is fine as is and I will use the msi afterburner to see if I can see any bottlenecks once I get my gpu.

What is the best program to monitor cpu/gpu usage in games in order to see what the bottleneck in games may be?

I recently bought a 1440p 165hz gsync monitor and am waiting on my gtx 1070. I currently have an i5-3570k overclocked to 4.5ghz and I'm wondering if I will see any issues with the cpu usage, or if I need to upgrade. What are your thoughts?
