I've just connected an ssd that has windows 7 sp1 in it, but once I get in to the "please wait" screen, my keyboard and mouse becomes inactive for some reason(both usb). The keyboard and mouse works in the BIOS though (msi z97s krait motherboard). Can someone tell me what's the problem here and...

I just got a msi Z97S Krait edition motherboard and my case is arriving next week so I put the parts together and tried to test it out without a case but I can't seem to find the place you need to connect with a screwdriver so can someone help me? Thnx
