Thanks for letting me know, since I am almost sure I do not feel any HDD spin up when the SATA data cable is unplugged, I am thinking they are not getting any power at all.
I just used my same Corsair CX 750 Watt, but there is somewhat some RGB going on, but nothing too crazy though. Could definitely be related. I am seriously thinking of just going the route of SSD's because I really don't want to RMA.. haha. (especially only to find out something along the lines...

I tried to listen, but I was not sure if I heard it or not. I read somewhere that unplugging the SATA data cable can cause it to produce more noise for a good way to check, is that true? Also, it is in a bay so I tried to feel for vibrations but I did not feel anything that was a definite sign.
