    Bought a 3 dollar xeon 2603. If the board works with that I'll sell the board and trash the cpu. Buying ryzen 2 regardless as one of the two is dead and I dont want to invest in old tech.

    Took my pc apart for cleaning. Once it was back together it was dead. It would boot, it wouldn't post, it would only turn aux power on and the bios light would come on.     3100 dollars and you walk away with a quad core? You spend 700 on a cpu/mobi combo when you could get more performance for slightly more money in a x99 board and like a 6800k. I don't think this build is serious though. So many small things that don't add up.

    i know for my 2600k i ran it at 1.39v for 4 years at that clock and no issues. you can up the voltage but watch the temps. you have a lower end cpu cooler.

    more voltage. get a better cpu cooler to. you wont get much higher before the cpu shuts itself off. using hwinfo or cpuz what is your core voltage?
