It's worth upgrading any of them, but in many cases the GPU will give you higher framrates than if you upgrade the CPU. However it will depend on the game.

Go to the Nvidia control panel > Manage 3D settings and find the global profile. There should be an option for power management. You probably have it set to "prefer maximum performance". Just set it to adaptive and you should be set.

They are practically the same. Pick the cheapest one, as the only use will be minecraft and internet browsing. Almost no noticeable difference regarding features and there will be no performance increase whatever board you choose. Both are good, and are made by respected brands

Could it be that you don't have directx 9/10 drivers (even though you have 11)? Might be that, even if it's applied by directx 11. you will get the required directx for the games you play (if you do play any) anyway, so no worry there.

Taking it apart is an option, but if you don't know what you are doing, don't. If you know what you are doing, take it apart, then blow it with air. Since this is a laptop, it really constricts the airflow. By the way, has it always been like this or just recently?

Stretching the resolution will probably look really weird (very flat) so you probably shouldn't do that, but it's up to you. As it's the same hight but longer length, that will happen if you try to scale it only one way :/. Well, since you already know what you want, then search away. Find...

If i get i right, you get good score with every other physics test. It's probably a problem or a bug with the benchmark. You shouldn't worry too much about it as all your other scores show that nothing is wrong. Update: If it really bothers you, reinstall it and try again. Most likely a bug
