Thanks Jason 201 but as I said I know it's not the Monitor .... it's brand new as are cables. Also I did try another Monitor. Maybe psu is dying. Any other thoughts?

Monitor and PC have been working fine until tonight. Turned on PC and monitor displays brand name then black screen. In upper right corner it displays HDMI, then dvi then via - in colour with black screen. It cycles through this repeatedly. PC sounds like it's loading. I know for sure...
