Yes, you are correct, and I can't get past the error screen to get to the boot options on the hp pavilion. I already tried leaving the cmos battery and the memory stick out for a few minutes and then got a post screen bit still could not get boot options. How else can I get to the boot options?

I am working on a PC for someone else, and will power on but blank screen. The PC has onboard video without a graphics card. I believe it needs a video card, please correct me if i'm wrong.

Unfortunately another problem showed up and i'm thinking it is most likely the bios. Right after I got it working, no keyboard will work on it now only during the post, as I was trying to get into the bios in the first place. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think I need to fix the bios.
