    Interesting, a bit of lateral thinking! And it worked! DVD (SATA) now plugged into the motherboard, and the 320GB drive plugged into the PCI/SATA card. Both appear to be working OK. Now I just have to work out how to correct the drive mapping as my documents drive is now Drive E: with the DVD...
