There isn't, the cooler + radiator design looks very similar. The Gaming OC has RGB and a measily 15 MHz bump on the core clock, so nothing. If you don't care about RGB, get the cheaper model.

Great idea, well then it seems that you reached the conclusion on your own. Looking like your display is faulty. Safest option would be to get it to a repair shop and get it replaced, but that totally depends on how much the operation will cost.

That looks like a hardware problem, drivers are not initialized before you boot into Windows and the problem still appears as I can see. Do you have a separate monitor to connect your laptop to? If everything displays correctly on the monitor, that means that the actual display of your laptop...

Furmark has a pretty weird behavior. Was curious about this, so I tested it on my card and: AA off, 2x, 4x normal power draw AA 8x, power draw goes down by 40W So, maybe at max AA the card tries to draw too much power and is limited... that's why I'd avoid this stress test, really inconsistent...

Sounds completely normal to me then. Keep in mind that Furmark is a power virus, so I wouldn't take those results too seriously. Alan Wake 2, wasn't made to run on cards without Mesh Shaders, so again... I wouldn't consider that a valid test. As far as I see 140W would be where the RX 580...

That's why I asked for a full set of specs from you (CPU, MB, RAM, PSU), can't assess things if I don't know the system. What is the GPU utilization during Furmark? What is the GPU utilization during your normal gaming sessions?

We need a full set of specs, first. Even without knowing your other components though, I can assure you that an RX 580 won't be able to run Alan Wake 2 at playable framerates. Much faster cards can't, for example a 1080ti barely averages 20fps at 1080p low.

That looks like cosmetic damage indeed. As long as the contact pads inside the port are fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

Looking pretty good. One small thing, I'd still prefer the Thermalright Peerless Assassin as it's generally the clear winner in terms of performance vs the AK500.

Yup, that i3 6098p bottlenecks the 6600 a lot. Furmark has higher GPU usage because it's a very graphically intensive benchmark with really low CPU usage, hence your i3 doesn't have to work as much.

Nice, well then... no objections from me :D. Good luck with the build! P.S.: I really like the Lian Li Lancool II, III Mesh, really good performing, plenty of space and solid build quality. The Corsair 4000D looks like a good option as well or maybe the be quiet! pure base 500DX.

Yeah, that's really decent under load. You can just override the zero fan thing from MSI Afterburner, if it gets on your nerves. In settings, select the fan tab there, enable custom adjustment for the fan curve and you'll find a "override zero fan with hardware curve" checkbox. Tick that and...
