I had taken the pc to a pc repair shop and checked if it was the psu but they said that it was not so! I have had the psu for 5 years now.
My old gpu was an nvidia gtx 960 (2GB)
It stopped working a month ago
The box of "Automatically restart" is not checked under system failure. Should it be...
It is Antec PSU 550W -Model VP550P V2
GPU temperatures were within range and yes DDU was used to remove old drivers and to install new ones.
I don't know if the blue screens are enabled but the system just completely restarts on its own from working normally!
System build-
CPU: i5-4440
RAM: DDR3 1600 8GB CL 11-11-11-28
GPU: GTX 1660 (updated recently)
Motherboard: Gigabyte H-81-M-WW
PSU: Altec 550w
I recently updated my gpu to a zotac gtx 1660 and downloaded cs:go and started playing it monitoring the cpu and gpu parameters with msi afterburner...
When I asked for an opinion people suggested nvidia gtx 1050ti, i was confused at this point since I didn't know if my motherboard could handle the 1660.
Thanks for responding.
Need an upgrade from old nvidia gtx 960 2gb.
Thinking of buying nvidia gtx 1660. Need to know if the motherboard (gigabyte h-81-m-ww) will be able to handle it.
