Thanks, yeah my monitor has 100mm x 100mm spacing, the stand also says it fits this size vesa holes so it should be compatible. So it should just bolt straight on to the holes at the bottom then without the need for anything else?

New RAM stick arrived today. Installed it and ran memtest again. 0 Errors! Have since managed to install windows as well. Thanks for all your help guys, I hope we've found the issue

Aah ok thanks. I got the parts list set up on ParkPicker which usually notes any incompatibilities, it did not warn of any compatibility issues between the RAM and Motherboard however. Looks like i'll be returning the RAM stick then for starters

Well, I fixed it...and here's how.... Unplugged the DVI cable from the back of the monitor, plugged it back in, then connected the other end to the gfx card DVI slot again... Voila.... booted PC, loaded BIOS!
