Thanks for all the answers. I bought a rx550 for £55 in the end . Anything more powerful would of been a waste as she dosnt even have a particularly nice monitor and will only play those two games anyway

The 1050 and that lvl card are a bit more than I was hoping to spend . The case is a normal size desktop so should fit most . I was wondering how the quadro 600 compared with the very low end stuff you can buy today like the 710 and low end r5 cards

Ok been trying anything now and i found that the onboard graphics worked (i am sure I tried it and it didn't work) then I tried my sons 750ti and it didn't work then I tried a gpu that didn't require power ,an old 4750 and that worked so I thought it might be the psu but then I tried my old 7950...

Thanks for a seriouse answer finally , in the end I reinstalled the whole PC which worked .then it stopped again but this time system restore worked . I think it was caused by one of the windows updates ,which seem to cause loads of issues on my PC , since the second issue I have switched off...

Are you planning on buying a 7850 as if you are ,you might want to consider some of the exelent offers around at the moment

Personally I would go for a nividia 670 as you can get them for less than £180 which is sooooo cheap at the moment , can't beat that for value ..............I am not a nvidia person usually (I have 2x7950 boost) but its so cheap

Yep ,but at the bottom of the screen in the tray windows claims to be connected and the resolve issues doesn't find anything ........I have ran system restore again now so it is working again but it has stopped before so it probably will again and it would be nice to know what could be causing it

Hi there , I had no problems with my PC for months but now I seem to have a reacuring issue with connection.......about a week ago I turned on my PC and steam would not load and had an error msg then after a few checks I realized I couldn't load ie or origin either ,or anything internet based...
