Well, I ended up with a Dimastech nano, a mATX test bench. I like it very much and the temperatures are good. I don't think I'll want going back to a closed case anytime soon. It's just cool. Open air all the way! :)

I am not an expert but I had a similar problem. The fan speed is controlled by the motherboard (I suppose the fan is connected through a 4 PIN cable). You have to check the cooling profile in the motherboard BIOS. Check also this thread...

I already have a Corsair RM 650 but the cables are just too stiff. I am looking for more flexible cables. Are the Corsair individually braided cables good? What other PSUs are out there which are of high quality but also have flexible cables? Thanks

I have a Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti Winforce OC card which needs to be cooled and a Noctua NH-L12 CPU cooler. I also have 3 x 2.5 inch SSDs and I might add more in the future.

I need a mATX case. I already have a PSU. I am only air cooling. I need a very good ventilated mATX case. I can add fans as needed, preferably Noctua fans.Are there any recommendations? Beautiful if possible. Thanks

Is the SoundBlaster Z EMI shielding really effective? It has a hole in it, the round glass in the middle. Also it is not shielded on the back. How effective it is? Is this really shielding? Also, I dislike the two red LEDs. This is just bad taste... And the plastic piece in the center of window...

I think you need a board with a SAS controller, not SATA. I think only server boards have this kind of ability.
