I just did this last night. I downloaded the newest bios from the MSI B350M Gaming Pro site... Ends with a Q... flashed it last night and installed a 3300x. It's running with no issues. What I did do before hand was update the chipset drivers before hand. Good luck!

If those are the only mobos in the decision process, I'd go with the 450. I've got a 3300x running on a B350 and it's been fine but I'm pretty sure due to the nature of the beta bios, lack of headroom in the cpu and cheap heatsink it comes with, it's not a good idea to OC it anyway... If you...

I've got a MSI B350m Gaming Pro mobo and a Ryzen 3 3300x (still in box.) The MSI site has 2 beta bios. One from July 2019 named "7A39v2N" and another from Dec 2019 named "7A39v2NQ" ... The one from July states it's the beta that adds support for Ryzen 3000 . The newer (with a Q) beta does not...
