if i change the mobo and cpu do i have to do something to the hdd or is it okay?

nvm after doing method 2 of wiki-how the problem was fixed. apparently system restore was allowed to use 181gb of storage. but after tweaking the settings it now uses gb. thanks ToineF :)

hey ToineF i did what you said and i think it worked. im up to 645gb now but still missing that other 140ish gb. iCompute-doU i cant find "Disk Management." in control panel :/

so i checked my C drive today and it said i only had 600gb of storage left out of my 916gb HDD. but when i selected everything in the drive it said that only 135gb was being taken up. so that should mean i still have 781gb not 600! so what happened to the 181gb? i also have hidden folders unable...

my (c:) drive says i have 656GB free of 916GB, but when i select everything that is in the drive and press properties, it says only 118gb is used in my pc. which should mean i have 798gb free not 656gb. so what is up why am i missing all that storage?
