Thank you, I'll take the motherboard out and give it a go. It's my first time installing an aftermarket cooler so I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that but if that's what it takes I'll give it a shot

I finally decided to get a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo for my 1155 Motherboard (ASUS P8Z77V), but now i've come to install it my case, (NZXT Phantom Full Tower) the case's own slot doesn't align with the CPU cooler pins and so I don't see any way of installing it other than completely...
