The GTX 770 will perform very well at 1920 X 1080 resolution. If you can afford the upgrade to the new monitor then you should definitely do it, that is a very capable machine.

I had a R.A.T. 7 Gaming mouse and had some problems with it. It had some sensor tracking issues and the software that came with it wasn't very good and I had some issues with it. That said, this is a different mouse and perhaps has had some improvements. What kind of gaming will you be doing...

They are both great cards, but if your planning on sticking with everything for 2 to 3 years then I think the 280X is the card to choose over the 770. It has 3 GB of vram vs 2GB on the 770. Although this is not an issue presently, in 2 years it may be more advantageous to have the 3GB of vram.
