I had a R.A.T. 7 Gaming mouse and had some problems with it. It had some sensor tracking issues and the software that came with it wasn't very good and I had some issues with it. That said, this is a different mouse and perhaps has had some improvements. What kind of gaming will you be doing? What features do you find most important? It sure looks cool, but there are lots of options out there. My advice is to read some reviews of the mouse and if there aren't any yet, look at some positive and negative reviews of the R.A.T. 5 and 7 because they seem to be around the price point of the mouse you are looking at. Good luck.

Nope, I wouldn't recommend it.

As CRA5MAN mentioned the mouse has sensor tracking issues, Any laser sensor is flawed regardless of the mouse model. Though they claim to be using a laser sensor by Phillips (and not Avago) but I wouldn't take the risk anyways. (read some reviews you'll find people complaining about z-axis and tracking issues)

I'd recommend looking for a gaming mouse with an optical sensor, my first recommendation on the top is Razer DeathAdder, it has very consistent performance, accuracy and precision, you'll never find anything better than that to be honest, rest assured most gaming grade optical sensors are as performing as any other, so you're not bond to only buying that specific mouse.

Look around for mice with Optical Sensors and don't pay attention to DPI, it is useless and you wont use more than 800 DPI anyways, the only thing you should pay attention to is the tracking method (optical), speed (IPS) and polling rate (calculated in Hertz) everything else is down to preference (i.e.: shape, size, weight, grip, build material, etc..)

The mouse's performance itself is good, but there are issues with the firmware/driver where the mouse would forget your setup (like DPI setting, macros, button assignment, etc..) look for reviews on Newegg and Amazon if people complain of this issue, if not then go ahead and buy it! otherwise, don't.

I will look on that website for the good optical mice and I will post them here if possible :)

Update: Don't only watch text reviews though, look for videos on YouTube as well.

Here is a list of average/good grade optical gaming mice:
Rs. 3799 --- Razer DeathAdder Black --- Good

Rs. 3449 --- Razer DeathAdder 2013 --- Excellent

Rs. 3400 --- Roccat Savu ------------------ Good

Rs. 3200 --- Roccat Kova+ ---------------- Excellent

Rs. 3100 --- Tt eSPORTS Saphira -------- Good

Rs. 2040 --- Tt eSPORTS Azurues -------- Information not available

Rs. 1945 --- Logitech G400s -------------- Excellent <--- Very good deal, though, read reviews from everywhere and look for flaws before purchasing.

Rs. 1800 --- Roccat Lua -------------------- Good

Always read negative reviews about these mice, then do a comparison table/list with all the mice that you have focused on then count how many flaws are in each mouse, the one with the least flaws is the one you should buy.
