I used gigabyte and had no issues to date. To be honest between gigabyte and asus I think it's more a question of which fits your build colour scheme best :)

Looks a pretty solid build, you could probably save some money on the psu 750w is a little bit of overkill, whilst I appreciate that maximum efficiency is achieved at about 50% load. Will you be overclocking your ram? To achieve 1600 as very few will automatically do it straight out of the box...

Malware bytes for me, seems very light on the system. My friend uses it at work in conjunction with norton, he says it stops things norton doesn't even see! Yes he works in IT for a very large company.

I found it was Microsoft visuals that was stopping it. Uninstalled x64 and x86 restarted with hdmi in gpu and it worked like a charm.
