I have been using AS for my E6600. Followed AS's installation guide for core 2 duo and the performance is not that good. If you have another thermal grease, try it. Let me know if the temp improves.

My old koolance CPU300-V06 6mm tubing water block is not doing well with my new E6600. It require a huge copper disk to transfer heat from the cpu to the water block which cause horrible performance. So I am in the market for a new water block. I don't want to buy the new koolance water block...

I have a E6600 also, that reading is not acurate. Mine read 25C but Coretemp.exe report the cores are at 41C.

Koolance usually doesn't include manual with the adaptors. They really need to change that pratice. When I was installing my old AMD64 adaptor I had to quess how to install it. I assumed the same for this adaptor, but turns out this adaptor has a install manual online. I may able to do without...

I measured it with Core Temp. My guess is the koolance water block spacer, it is a huge copper disc. I think I will try without the spacer or re-apply the thermal paste. Koolance 775 ATX Spacer
