Are you absolutely positive you even have PWM fans? Check your fan headers on your motherboard to make sure they're 4 pin. 3 pin headers do not support fan control.

I've used coretemp for a while, and recently started using speedfan for a rainmeter plugin. The odd thing is Coretemp tells me my cores are individually at around 40c, speedfan reports that they are individually 25c. Is there something majorly wrong with either reader? CPU is a i5-4670k stock...

My temp idles at around 40-41c and 50-55c under load, but I have an aftermarket cooler, the Cooler Master Seidon 120mm liquid cooler with push pull fans. I live in Arizona, so it's a bit hot in terms of air temperature, but shouldn't my CPU still be cooler than this?

Okay, I tried running Far Cry 3, and my card instantly ramps to 100% fan speed at the menu, and 100c, topping at 102c. Something wrong with this?
