Is your laptop plugged in when you're playing games? Also make sure that you're using the actual graphics card and not your CPU graphics while playing the game.

When you press to power up your PC, do any lights or fan move to indicate that you are receiving any power at all?

What are you trying to talk to your friends on? Whatever voice program you are using open the settings for that program and make sure your microphone is turned up all the way and the program is working off your microphone. Also if you haven't done it restart your PC.

I feel that they both sound just as good. But I think battery life for a wireless headset is important and the G933 marginally has better battery life.
