This exact same thing happens with my system. But only if power is completely cut from the system such as unplugging it or the power going out. Has done this for a couple years now, and I've never noticed anything wrong during daily use.
Excuse my ignorance but I'm not entirely sure how to read the graph in regards to answering my question. AX and AXi are completely separate from one another on there.
I have a Corsair AX860 Platinum PSU. I wanted to buy a custom sleeved 24 pin PSU cable from TitanRig but when I went to choose my PSU model, AX is not an option, but AXi Type 3 & Type 4 are. Would the AXi cables be compatible with my PSU? Or am I just out of luck due to my model?
Currently using an i7 7700k, but I'm looking to upgrade soon. Torn between the Ryzen 7 3800X, or waiting for Intel's 10th generation chips. If Intel does nothing revolutionary, or doesn't price competitively with AMD, I think I'd rather go for AMD. But, I've used Intel my whole life, so the...
Decided to check if there were any driver updates for my system, and decided to look into Intel's Management Engine Interface driver. On the support page for my motherboard (Asus ROG Maximus IX), the last available update is 11.7.0.1045, which was released on 12/2017. On Intel's site, they have...
Would the fact I'm using CMD make a difference? I typed in sfc /scannow and the command you mentioned in CMD and got the error. Haven't tried powershell.
Ran sfc /scannow and got this error. Decided to do a fresh start install of Windows and am getting the same error.
Came across this article from last month, and it said the error could be something wrong on Windows end, specifically Windows Defender, and they'll be patching it in the near...
I have been a fan of using Rivatuner to lock my FPS in games for years. But I've noticed it doesn't play well with certain games the more I pay attention to it. Resident Evil 2 Remake is a good example. In game, I set the FPS to uncapped, and to 97 in Rivatuner (3 below my fax refresh). I...
I don't recall if Windows Defender RTP was turned off, but I know when I went to my windows security hub, or whatever it is called, it did state that Webroot was taking care of everything. Guess I won't know for sure. I'm a bit worried to try install it a third time since I'm 2 for 2 on it...
I have a clean install of Windows 10 64bit and wanted to try a new virus security. Webroot gets a lot of praise because it's supposed to be very slim, and gets the job done, so I decided to give it a try. I installed the free trial and it brought my computer to a crawl immediately. Well, not a...
I have an Asus IX Formula motherboard and it has room for 2 M.2 drives, but, one of them is on the bottom of the board, facing up. So it forces your drive to stick up in the air and it looks awful. Also feels like I'm going to smack it if I'm working with the insides of my case. It's just badly...
Thanks for the replies so far! I was planning on putting them directly behind the motherboard on the opposite side of the motherboard tray, if that makes a difference.
Currently rebuilding my desktop and I now have both a fan power hub and a Corsair hub to control all the RGB LED's on my fans. I have a thin sheet of magnetic tape that I wanted to use to stick to the hubs, then stick in my case somewhere in the back and out of the way. Would it be safe to use...
I gamed all day yesterday and the day before with no issues. Graphic intensive games too. GTA5 with max settings and Fallout 4 with mods. It seems to only happen when waking from sleep. I'm going to try roll back drivers. This has only started to occur on 388.xx
So it happened again today. Computer was asleep. Monitor was off. Turned on computer, turned on monitor, and boom, green lines. This time, I turned off just my monitor for a moment, turned it back on and the lines were gone.
