Rodney, I'm with you all the way man. Not seeing the point of buying a DX10 card for having DX10. The only reason I'd buy an 8800GTX/ultra(if I wons some cash or something) is to play everything on max. Definately not for the DX10.

Ok, so I came in early today and did some research. It will have single player but will primarily be for multifplayer. Feeling lots better now. Single player should be something different as it's got a storyline and you have 4 main team members that apparently talk alot and are not just AI bots...

Anyone know if there is an offline part of the game. UT is my alltime favourite game and it'll really suck if it's only online. We here in SA pay through our a$$es for $h!++y lines. I can't game online yet coz I've got bloody wireless and the best latency I'l ever get out of it is 700ms. Great...

Mine's at 2.5 as well but the people I live with has a cat and the hair cause my pc to get dirty real quickly. Load temps with my big typhoon is 44 deg C.

Well, hope you enjoy the 9700. It's pretty but to me the Big Typhoon just gave better performance and I got my thermaltake stuff for cheap coz most of my case is Thermaltake and I know the right people here in SA. My lanmoto case, all the LED fans, my UV's, my PSU and now the Big Typhoon as well.

Yeah, that's total and utter BS. The X1950 is cheaper and faster than the 8600GTS. The only thing you won't get is the DX10 but if you want that, no less than the 8800GTS 320. That'll prolly be my next upgrade if I have the money.
