Does it freeze when browsing or watching movies etc... other than playing games ?

I do have similar issue, was playing cs1.6 and suddenly it froze, my keyboard and mouse stopped responding, i had to manually unplug the power cable and turn it back on. Sometime it freeze in windows loading screen sometimes it freeze when i browse, or watch movie etc... been having this issue...

I removed my gpu and tried i still face the issue. Meanwhile i have changed ram and added a ssd, removed gpu and tried with igpu and still it freeze. I stayed on bios for 5+mins and it crashed in there too.

I just changed my psu and still im facing this problem. Even with or without gpu.

Any update ?

What was your previous gpu and psu ?

Please update me after testing with new psu, because im about to change it tomorrow. Tested psu and it was giving 11.6v so they told changing psu might help. If i change psu i might go with Corsair CV450w

Today i was playing csgo and suddenly my pc freezed froze. No buttons were working keyboard was not working but the game was freezed in monitor the sound was not there as well. Then i had to unplug my cable and plug it back then it was working fine then when i was browsing in like 10mins it...

Im currently having an i7 8700 pc with RX-700AC-B 80 Plus Bronze power supply. One of my friend is selling his gtx 970 4gb for a very cheap price because he is getting a new lappy. Will that gpu work with this power supply or should i change my psu ?
