I have tried multiple cables for the 3080 and have also put the 3080 and 1000w psu on my old motherboard, which started up no problem so surely the problem cannot be the PSU or the GPU?

Just tried, still doesn’t start and only flickers with the new gpu in after setting it to gen4

My previous card was a 2060 I think my next step would be to set up my old motherboard like I did before and put the new graphics card in it along with my new PSU to see if it’s the power supply that’s faulty. If not then surely it would be the motherboard that’s faulty? And no, the graphics...

The old PSU has cables connected inside it which you cannot remove and the new PSU I have only used the cables that came with it. Do you think it could be a motherboard issue? The motherboard is from Amazon used but excellent condition apparently
