What I mean is, right underneath the motherboard IO, there should be some pieces of metal that look something like this. They should be secured with some type of screw. Those are the screws you use to mount the graphics card.

Update: I put my computer to sleep last night. I installed the Intel display driver (from Acer) and checked device manager. No issues. Now, my computer did the same thing. Display off, unresponsive, power and battery lights both solid blue (normal behavior for it being on).

Okay. Do you have a different system you could test the GPU in? It may be that your GPU has just stopped working, in which case you'd need to replace it.

What ports does your monitor have? I'd try a different port on your dedicated GPU first. If that doesn't work you can just disconnect the dedicated GPU from your system and plug your video cable directly into the motherboard.

The screws should have been holding on the PCI slot cover you took off to install the GPU. Do you know the brand/model of the case?

Have you tried a different port (like HDMI instead of DVI/DP or VGA, or vice versa)? Do you have a dedicated GPU? If yes, have you tried using the integrated GPU?

If you remove the GPU and connect your monitor to one of the ports on the Motherboard, can you boot into windows? iGPU stands for integrated GPU.

It may have just failed, which can happen. Your motherboard seems to be a bit old, so it's probably nearing end of life.

You said you tried switching PCI-e ports? Does your computer boot off the iGPU?

What's your CPU usage at while playing GTA? Specifically when it's stuttering. GTA is a very CPU intensive game.

The Gigabyte GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming comes with a 5.25 adapter with 2 HDMI ports on it for VR and a mouse pad. I'm not sure why the aorus is $20 more, probably supply and demand. You'll be fine with the non- AORUS one.

In that case, have you tried a different motherboard?

Is this an external monitor connected to a laptop? Or is it a desktop? You should still be able to press the key to boot into the BIOS, which you will probably need to do to change your boot order so you can boot from USB.

What are the other specs for your PC? It might be a CPU or RAM bottleneck
