BIOS or CMOS storage is corrupt?

So I have a ASUS Z87 Plus, I loved it for a long time (although I had to RMA it from the start). For some reason it won't load a default BIOS settings anymore. It keeps trying to load a very failed overclock (no +voltage, just increase on CPU speed - it was part of a test to see how perfect my...

    How to: Update BIOS Z87-PRO

I would like to know for solution choosing if an answer has been provided, you basically answered it however - cpc makes a great point. I just got a z87 Pro myself and am about to attempt online update through their app (unlike gigabyte asus works well). for now I will choose CPC's answer until...

    Whats slowing my rig down?

Can you check the FSB/Northbridge temperatures? These could be affecting performance is what apps are you runniong? what mods in wow? How old is the OS installation? these are all factors that can cause such problems

    Would this be an upgrade?

also before going into power consumption, are you running the dx11 API? it creates less CPU overhead and can improve performance - next step can be to reduce some of the graphic settings until a new Power Supply Unit is implemented. Some mods such as ELVuI can also create more overhead on CPU...

    Memtest86+ result question

Also remember to check if the memory is compatible with your motherboard! Sometimes some modules are either faulty or don't operate with some motherboards. As for the results, hopefully someone with some experience in memtest86 can assist you!

i have deleted drive d: instead of formatting it, while installing windows8.. then i lost the drive: ,it is been allocated int

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/filerecovery/tp/free-file-recovery-programs.htm here is a list of programs that are mostly free and the top one, Recuva, looks like a real winner. It should be an easy fix assuming you haven't written to much new data on the drive :P Later you can then go through...

    Blue screen error irql_not_less_or_equal

Can you please supply the model of the Acer Aspire laptop? Is the machine using Windows Vista on it also? So far the possibilities I'm thinking are Faulty Motherboard, as it should not beep with your old RAM at all

    Blue screen error irql_not_less_or_equal

There's the possibility the RAM could be faulty or perhaps not compatible with the motherboard you are using them in. http://www.memtest.org/ Try download a copy of this and run it with only 1 stick of ram in at a time (assuming there is more than one) and check results, then test the other...

    RAID 0 Setup

Standard onboard, M4A77TD-PRO with it's onboard SATA ports (if that's what you were meaning). I used windows itself to set the RAID up. In the end I just lost a bunch of data (1.7~tb) and did a copy of remaining data across to the drive I was planning to removing. Then I setup the Raid the way...

    RAID 0 Setup

So far I deleted most the data, copying the data I need to the drive I do intend for raid (only as single drives) - next I'll copy that data to the drive I don't need. Then I can setup the 2 drives for raid and copy the data back across, thank god it's it's all data I don't need to keep and can...
