I just transferred my computer into a cooler master master case 5. I was super excited for the fan and led controller but I can't seem to get any power to it. I think it is powered by a molex connection but I'm not 100%. Anyone have experience with setting one of these up?

Sounds like you deleted the network adapters driver. Go to a different computer that has an internet connect and go to the manufactures website and find the driver for the adapter.

Make sure your video driver is up to date too

When it comes to installing it you'll have to put 7 back on it and then upgrade to 8. The key you have is probably an upgrade key and can not be used for a fresh install. For the data there is not much you can really do unless you had a backup on your external drive.
