Re-install Windows 8 Confusion

Hello, my girlfriends laptop got conduit on it and I've fought with it for about 6 months. So since she is out of town this weekend I am using the time to re-install Windows 8. Ideally I would like to run something like DBAN or Killdisk but i'm not sure how I could re-install 8 after that because it did not come with any recovery media. Is there a way to create a install disc like you could in 7? If not I now there the update and recovery option in Windows 8 so I can use that if needed. When I got there I click the option that says "remove everything and reinstall Windows." After that I select all drives then I have the option of "Just remove my file" and "Fully clean the drive." Will the "Fully clean the drive" option do some sort of all zero pass on the hard drive then reinstall 8? or will it not install 8? I also can get the product key by using magic jellybean. So windows 8 will still be re-installed? I'm also just curious in general if it does do an all zeros pass or what?

If you're using the Recovery thing from the manufacturer, it will bring it back to the same condition as it was when you brought it home from the store.

I did but it was only a temporary fix. Came back in a few months. Conduit is a nasty little guy

If you didn't get rid of it, it would have reappeared almost immediately. 'A few months' suggests a new infection.
