I live in a pretty sterile environment. If there is dust, I can clean it no problem. k1114: the S340 is setup as describe and my temps still kinda suck (GPU). Figured I'd give the open case a go.

May do a build within the month on a Thermaltake P3 tower. Since it is open, I wonder if the temperatures will be better than my current build (NZXT S340). I’ll be cooling the CPU and GPU with radiators, though. Will this be a good move?

I mean, it's off of its OC profile..so should I underclock and see what happens?

I took off the shroud and cleaned out the heat sink. By vcore, you mean voltage right? Not familiar with that terminology.

I've done everything: -cleaned out my components -rearranged fan configurations -took off OCs -rearranged power configurations I still get thermal throttling for games like Titanfall 2, PUBG, and Rainbow Six Siege (80-85 C) Am I doomed to get the hybrid cooler for my card? What should I do?

i don't know what the thermal limit is for the 6800k, but it seems like I may be hitting it. After many hours of testing with no OC's and OC's, get around 65-68 C regardless and my FPS will drop. I guess I need a better cooler and/or thermal paste. (Astek 510) or figure out how to raise the temp...

Oh and I just booted up Rainbow Six Siege. I shouldve been getting crazy FPS but averaged at 30. Fucking waste of money

GPU stays at 2012 Mhz (OC'd) CPU, I guess I don't monitor the freq. If it doesn't, could it be the cpu? I have it OC'd at 3.7

GPU is around 100-110 CPU about 90% max

I don't get it. It seems like these "boxes" are just computers, but you put them on their side. What's the difference between (for example) a Syber Vapor Xtreme vs a i7 with a 1080? I DON'T GET IT **throws chair**

Sometimes I like to do schoolwork on my gaming rig and 1080p is a little difficult to read off of sometimes. I'm just curious if I can switch to 1080p if my monitor is 2560x1440p natively? Seems like a dumb question, sorry. Can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere.
