Yeah prebuild system scan are messing me around saying it's memory when no errors are found on any of the memory when mentest86 is done in slots 2 and 4 first year on sight. 2.years back to base, yet they say they have to get back for repairs not a water-cooled system.

checked both memory in slot 2 of the motherboard still no power, removed the heat sink from the CPU and thermal paste was still tacky but looked crusty around the edges, But look ok once cleaned it off with some isopropyl alcohol.
Got another MB coming tomorrow as it going to be the MB or CPU...
If I remove the MB from the case to test, am I able to power without cpu fan as it's currently has a radiator no cpu fans.
Q :could it be the cpu? if not memory

I noticed when the pc would not start after a few times trying to start the pc I wait until a usb 500gb seagate hard drive turn off once this happen it started working again (strange)
This don't make very much scene to me as the USB Hard drive is not a USB powered device it come...

I would check The following That the processor is seated correctly Also check for any bent pins on the motherboard and the processor.
If all this has failed then try with a memory stick at a time in each slot.

I have same mobo work a well in mine. it only has 1 pcie slot. when removing old video card you will need to push down on the clip on the mobo pcie slot to remove the card
