BTW, the recycle bin exists on each drive. It doesn't actually pick up a file(s) and put them in a 'special' place. It just marks them in the drive index to not be used until actually deleted using the clear items from the recycle bin command.
You can adjust the size of your recycle bin. Here is how to check it and adjust it.

Just install the HDD on a spare SATA port and log in as usual. The existing OS should find it. You may have to format it. It should show up in your BIOS page as well under Storage or something like that.
Make sure your monitor is plugged into the video card monitor port not the motherboard port. Also, check the BIOS to see that PCIe video is ON and not IGP video. Read your users manual.
Use a micro fiber cloth available at WalMart, auto stores, hardware stores and a small spray bottle with lens cleaner which is available at most eyeglass shops-or drugstores. Spray the cloth and wipe gently.
