Recently bought a new ASUS UX425JA. There should be a windows defender scheduled scan in the task manager but it is just missing. I have tried installing one but it just doesn't run. Every so often an alert tells me I need to run a scan. Has anyone else seen this or know what to do about it?

Crucial 4GB DDR2 PC2-5300 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.8V 512Meg x 64 There is only one slot so I cannot use 2*2. Crucial's website says this is not compatible but sometimes you can stretch the envelope. Any advice?
