What was wrong was the 3 - 4 slots were actually dead. I returned the mobo to the store and instead purchased an ASUS Z97 Sabertooth Mark II Mobo. And have had zero problems thus far. So that is good. I also picked up arctic silver thermal compound for the cpu. :D

Thank you, that actually worked. I had to clear the CMOS. When I went to do it through the BIOS however, it did not allow me to do it. So I looked up where the jumpers were. And it took me about a half hour to find the damn thing. But I got it to work. Thanks again. - Brian
