I have just recently build a new PC. I have an i7 7700k, Asus ROG STRIX Z270E mobo, and an H60 Watercooler. Opening a task such as google chrome makes my CPU temp spike from 40C (avg idle temp) to 66C then back down to 40C, and running prime95 spikes it to 80C. In gaming I average around 60-70C...
