Is it better to assign a ip outside of dhcp range or just assign one within the range? I am really confused. which is better and why? Thanks guys

Here is my situation 1 Forget about installing in a new PC. 2 currently I have ssd and hdd on my old PC but I want to remove ssd and put back os on hdd so I can still use the old PC.

I know how to install a ssd in a new PC but how do I remove all data from ssd in old PC and put back into hdd? So I can still use the old PC with hdd. The new PC already had windows 8. I am not building a PC I bought it with pre installed

Thank you guys for the help. I configured about 3 of them and they are working fine. I have changed the IP Address and some common ones, like SSID, Password and all that. and left most of them on default settings so should I make any other changes or this would be fine?

I think I kind of figured it All out and I just have 1 questions. I am using six APs and I want to know if I should just leave channel on auto or not. I found out that I should use 1 6 or 11 but how do I use that on six APs? Like 1,6 11 and repeat for the other 3 or just mix it up?

I am trying to configure access point for more coverage but I am little confused with what IP address to choose. Let's say my router has the range of 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.100, should I choose any ip between 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.99 or should I choose outside of that range?
